Damaged Screw to Anchor Camera

It arrived today and looked great, the MG285 is faux leather and this (MG875) is real leather. But the screw to anchor the camera (RX100 VI) in the case and then to use for a tripod had stripped threads. Previously used? I don't know how a product gets damaged and passes quality control. China I guess? Returned today. I'll look somewhere else.Update- the Sony LCJ-RXF arrived today. It costs more but fits perfectly and the camera doesn‚Äôt hang upside down.
